‘Shahin’ to vie at Indian Bhara filmfest

Iranian movie ‘Shahin’ is slated to have international premiere at the 2021 Bharat International Film Festival in India.

The psychological-horror movie, directed by Salar Tehrani, will represent Iran at the 2nd edition of the Bharat filmfest.

There are a number of stars known to ifilm English viewers who have appeared in the movie.

Being in more than 10 films and series aired by the channel, Gelareh Abbasi has performed roles in a number of works, including ‘In the Eye of the Storm’, ‘Madness of Love’, ‘Kimia’, and ‘Breath’.

‘Breath’ series actor Alireza Kamali-Nejad has also played one of the main roles in ‘Shahin’. ifilmers know him from ‘The Sinister Mind’ and ‘A Beautiful Revolution’.

Mehran Ranjbar, Bahar Nouhian, Ehsan Amani and Farzin Mohaddes are also among the cast members.

The Bharat Int’l Film Festival allows new movie makers to exchange knowledge, ideas and culture between India and other nations.

The upcoming edition of the event is slated for January 24-26, 2021.
